OVER 26 TRAPS OF VARYING VICIOUSNESS

At the core of Dungeon Warfare’s addictive gameplay loop are the 26 distinct traps you utilize to annihilate intruders. Each device of destruction has three upgradable tiers to amplify its lethality. Prefer ranged violence? Equip dart, spike, bolt, and inferno traps to pierce, impale, zap, and immolate attackers from afar. Want to leverage dungeon geography for max carnage? Spring traps fling enemies into endless chasms, while harpoons and push traps similarly weaponize the environment itself. If direct intervention is more your speed, summon an allied demon horde with portals to brawl alongside your mechanisms. With so many options for creative kill combos, no two playthroughs are ever the same.

ENVIRONMENTAL WEAPONS

In addition to building an armory of traps, dungeon lords can also coerce the terrain itself to aid their defenses. Giant boulders can be dropped to pulverize entire groups at once. Mine cart rails rerouted totransform transports into projectile weapons. Ancient lava pools flooded to boil aggressors alive. Half the strategy lies in studying each level’s distinct geography to determine optimal trap placement and environmental opportunities. Intimate knowledge of your dungeon’s nooks, crannies, and pitfalls transforms the very walls into allies.

CAMPAIGN AND ENDLESS MODES

Conquering the campaign’s 40+ progressively challenging enemy strongholds is just the beginning. Combining 12 difficulty mode runes unlocks nearly endless replay configurations. Ascend the leaderboards in Endless Mode, where wave after punishing wave continues until you’re finally overrun. With three upgradeable tiers per trap and numerous viable strategies per level, no two runs ever play exactly the same. Even after hundreds of hours perfecting trap synergies, there are always new tactics to try and sadistic high scores to chase.

SADISTIC ACHIEVEMENTS

For the truly dedicated dungeon lord, over 30 difficult-to-obtain achievements exist. Some cater to casual players, while others demand expert-level massacre efficiency. A number demand sickening overkill like obliterating 1,000 enemies with a single spring trap. Others require pacifist-style creativity, such as completing levels with zero trap kills. 100-percenting every achievement is a colossal undertaking requiring mastery of trap mechanics, level layouts, and spawn patterns. For players craving long-term goals, these nightmare milestones should satisfy even the most masochistic completionists.
